Amazing food in an intimate little restaurant. We've had salads, soup, and pizza here and have really liked it. Their desserts are great as well. The ambiance of the place, and its location just next to the theater makes it a great place to go before or after a play/concert, whether you're dressed casually or classy. We have never been disappointed here, aside from some rude comments made by another customer one time. We don't go here nearly as often as we should. I highly recommend it.

Great little lunch spot in St Cloud. The turkey pesto panini was very good. Friendly service, casual atmosphere. Never felt rushed as we stayed to chat a while after eating. A really nice local business. Would definitely recommend and go again!

Jules is our very favorite quiet, little home grown restaurant in town. Wine selection is always great, food always tasty. Very worth the visit!

Jules has a very nice feel to it: good music in the background without having to shout over it and just enough lighting to see your food and your lover's eyes without feeling you're a lab rat. The food - my Greek Salad and my wife's turkey and artichoke panini were very good but the service was unfortunately very uneven. At the start we had the attention of both our server and Jules herself. But once the food was delivered, both went curiously missing in action. We finally hailed the bartender to assist us. If we come back it will be for the food - but then maybe not.

Had a great meal outside. We both had the "Pick Two": the Chicken Avocado Grill wrap and bistro salad with pancetta vinaigrette and my wife had the Grilled Turkey Pesto Sandwich with spicy sausage chili. But I found two wood ticks on me after sitting outside...yuck. So sit inside!!

This was delicious! The staff was great and the place is cute. We will go whenever we are in St. Cloud . . . next time for dinner and a glass of wine!

This is placeh is great for pizza, salads and soups. They have quite a few selection of wine. Paintings are interesting around the restaurant. Service is fast and quick. I just hope they would add charcuterie and cheeses to their good wine selection. Great place for lunch, light and intimate dinner with your partner or best friends.

Stopped by here for lunch while visiting from Georgia. The BBQ chicken pizza was the best I've ever had. Cute place, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Highly recommend for lunch. You'll be impressed!

Once again, I was in St Cloud on business, and when my friend, Gina, recommended lunch, it was a given we'd be heading over to Jule's Bistro. The special on Friday was a squash and apple chili. Now before you turn up your nose, it was probably the best chili I've ever had! It was very flavorful, and like a fine wine, it was bold with a lot of depth. Service is always top-notch here, and when the restaurant's namesake came over to visit with us, she mentioned a recent write up in the Star Tribune. So that tells you you have to stop by Jule's Bistro whenever you're in St Cloud! startribune.com/lifestyl…

Great stop for lunch or dinner in St. Cloud. Salads are made with fresh, healthy ingredients; no chunks of iceberg lettuce were found. I love that you can get a half panini and half signature salad for around $10.

Okay, I found this place on yelp looking for a new place to go. I can not say enough good about the place! My husband, my 20 month old son and I had lunch here today. We started off with a Goat Cheese and Dried Fruit Tampenade. Fantastic!!! My husband had the Avocado Portabella Reuben, I had the Grilled Turkey Artichoke sandwich and my son a grilled cheese. Unbelievable, unbelievable, unbelievable!!! We ended with their signature coffee and turtle cheesecake. The service was phenomenal. This just made our favorite list!!! It is a must try!!!

I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere at Jule's. The flavor combinations are good and the staff are friendly and fairly attentive. The wait for the food is excessive though. I've been here three times, and each time its taken 45 min to 1 hr to get my food. I would go more often if I had an hour and a half lunch break, but as it is I rarely go because I have to eat in a hurry. I wouldn't choose this restaurant unless you have a lot of time available.

There needs to be more places like this in the world! Keys get fast food out of here!!! I had the turkey pesto with tomatoes provolone and fresh greens on panini style cottage bread. Pesto was delicious! I need to learn how to make it at home. They also have a good wine selection. "Date night" on Monday's and Wednesday's. Nightly specials and monthly appetizers specials.

I read about this must try place, and I'll come here every time I'm in St, C. I got here at an odd time around 10. I was chatting with Sam about the menu, and she made it clear that it was breakfast only. So I ordered a monte cristo sandwich on cottage bread minus the breakfasty stuff like the jam and powdered sugar. Thick sliced ham and turkey, with melted cheddar was my first intro to this sandwich. I never got around to getting one anywhere else. Needless to say I loved it, and only ate half. Reason being was I was told the chili was probably hot. I had a cup and even had some left over for a snack that night. Chili of the day was turkey, I want to try them all. As I walk in they had a beautiful display of desserts, and a very unusual strawberry cake. It had a different kind of consistency, a little denser, and it was fabulous. Someone was actually bringing in cheesecake from a bakery they use if it's not made onsite. I picked up some wake up cookies for home, too. So I'm taking my sweet time, and I'm noticing some art all over the walls. Reminded me of Caffe Latte. The artists are Eve and Gary Wallinga. It's a textured style. Ranging from $90-600. I saw a smaller black and white with purple that is going right in my kitchen. Sam gave me perfect directions that involved just taking a left off the street. It's the perfect stop before the trip home. This restaurant stands up to any of our gourmet ones in the Twin Cities.

Would We Go Again? Yes, we would go again to Jule's Bistro! While we would skip the beef and mushroom chili, the Avocado Portabella Rueben and the Turkey Pesto Panini were both something that we will be recommending to others. And while I can't personally speak to the Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap, my friend that ordered it did say that it was good. Also, the service was quick and friendly!

Great atmosphere, and the service is great. My wife ordered a glass of wine, and it tasted a little off, and they immediately opened a fresh bottle, and apologized about the first glass. Jule's is very uncharacteristic of a typical St. Cloud restaurant.

I held a small meeting at Jule's Bistro this spring over the lunch hour and appreciate very much that they accepted my call-ahead reservation. Every other table was taken. Having a meeting up at the bar would have been very inconvenient. My old fashioned chili was delicious, and I didn't hear any complaints from the others about their red pepper soup and something something wraps. Drinks were kept topped-off and the server was polite and attentive without interfering with our meeting.

St. Cloud is the capital of the Chain Restaurant, so you have to hunt a bit to find a local eatery. Jule's Bistro is a tasty, civilized alternative to the string of downtown bars along St. Germain Street and the wasteland of chain restaurants west of town along route 23. Our table ordered three items. First was a pizza special of the day (chicken, pesto, goat cheese) that was crispy and tasty. Not the "authentic" Neapolitan pizza you might get at Punch, Pizza Nea, or Bricks, but really delicious and better than 90% of the pizzas you would get at a restaurant. The second item we sampled was a portabella reuben (no meat.) The sandwich was tasty and satisfying, with fresh ingredients and good bread. Our third selection was the half sandwich & cup of soup, half a Rachel (Reuben made with turkey instead of corned beef) and a cup of chicken/corn chowder. Both were standouts, flavorful and substantial. The only downside was that the restaurant was full and there was only one server. I got tired watching him race from table to table, and we skipped dessert because the poor guy dashed over with our completed check and I didn't want to make him redo it to accommodate a serving of flan. (I checked out the baked goods in the display case, and they looked kind of run of the mill--three kinds of Bundt cakes, a couple varieties of cookies--but I didn't taste any of them.) Our bill, including tip, was about $35 for three diners, but if we'd had drinks (they serve beer and wine) and dessert it would have come to more like $50 or $60. There was enough variety on the menu that I am looking forward to going again.

Stuffed. So Stuffed. Just finished dinner at Jule's. I travel a lot. It is so hard to find good food that fits my tastes. Good for me includes quality vegetable dishes, thought given to sourcing ingredients and caring preparation. When you can get these things with a local (non-chain restaurant please) feel a great opportunity for a memorable meal is in the making. I have Yelped my way across this nation eating almost exclusively by the recommendations of the Yelp street teams and try to pay it back when I can by pointing out what I find along the way. Jule's is worth going to. Quality food. Nice atmosphere (casual) and great employees. By the time I left I was on a first name basis with my server who pretty much recommended the entire meal based on my questions (Creamy Winter Squash Soup, Greek Salad - no iceberg thank you very much and a grilled Portobello Mushroom sandwich worth every bite - I normally don't ever eat potato chips but have to admit I ate almost every one of the spicy little BBQ delicious, crunchy demons). When driving into St. Cloud I was worried about my prospects. Now I know if I ever return on business there is a safe little haven serving high quality Bistro food and a corner table waiting for me to eat too much again.

How is it possible I haven't written a review for Jules' yet? To clarify, my five-stars are on the St. Cloud adjusted scale. In my homeland of Northern California, this place would warrant a four, which is still pretty damn good, but in the chain restaurant wasteland that is St. Cloud, Jules' is a freaking godsend. This place has so many things that make me smile: local art for sale all over the walls, waitresses in funky attire, and kids' drawings as table decorations. Just the right amount of quirk, without going overboard into all-out bizarre. As far as food goes, everything I've eaten there is good, and they push the boundaries about as much as a restaurant in St. Cloud can (which is to say, not far). They have both a soup and a chili of the day, which is fantastic, and a wide array of pizzas, sandwiches, and salads. To maximize your experience, you should definitely order one of their pizzas - hand-made dough, interesting ingredients, etc. My only quibble would be that they don't have beer on tap (although they carry a very limited but good selection of bottled craft beers - their affinity for Alaskan Brewing Co. has certainly kept me happy so far). In general, keep it up, Jules! Maybe you should think about being open on Sundays?

Slam dunk Favorite lunch spot in the area. Pizza, salad, sandwiches--you can't go wrong. And do pop in to the art shop on the same block...lots of beautiful local pottery, paintings. Weaving, notecards, etc

St. Cloud. The college town armpit of Minnesota. Who would have thought I would have discovered a restaurant so charming? On my first trip to Jule's Bistro i mistakenly forgot to plug the meter. Hello unwanted parking ticket. My second attempt at Jule's was most pleasurable. Sipping a couple glasses of wine, while munching on a delicious salad and chocolate chip cookie definitely put the "happy" in my birthday! If you're ever in the St. Cloud area looking for some good grub with a chic hipster vibe - check it!

Jules' is a great little place and I think is very under appreciated in this town! Oddly I think its downtown location makes it not an option for many St. Cloud residents and visitors. The food here is imaginative and tasty! I was very impressed by the creativity I saw on the menu. My guest, a huge foodie, thought the menu had so many great ideas he snapped a pic of it with his cell phone so he could try to replicate some of the ideas at home. I'm generally a very picky and unadventurous eater, so some of the more gourmet restaurants tend to really turn me off. However, Jules Bistro provides many dishes which go outside of what I normally eat while still pleasing my palate. Besides food, Jules is also the source of alcohol, coffee/tea, and a beautiful dessert case by the register. The reason I didn't award 5 stars is due to the smallness of Jules. It's not like St. Cloud is cramped.. it seems silly that this restaurant can only hold a handful of parties at once. You will definitely need to plan ahead if you are going to visit during peak hours.
